Behind the scenes at Bank Of Melbourne World’s Longest Lunch

What a thrill it was to be back styling the Bank of Melbourne World's Longest Lunch for 2021, held in the stunning Treasury Gardens, and on the most picture-perfect day!

The day celebrated and showcased a line-up of legendary Melbourne talent including Jacques Reymond, Phillippe Mouchel and Stephanie Alexander.

Almost a year on from the original date in 2020, it was amazing to finally bring the concept to life. The brief was to prioritise modernity and the unexpected, as well as using materials in a sustainable way. We designed custom made vases that took event waste such as used event signage, metallic streamers, zip ties, chipped vases and crushed tiles, moulding it into resin; saving what would otherwise have gone into landfill and giving it another life. All vases were taken home by guests to live on in their homes – a win for all!
